Pictorial 'Virtual Race' to give you an idea of the terrain.

Start line is on Williss's Lane. A bit narrow but fast and downhill.

After passing through the school and negotiating a couple of cattle grids it's a sharp right turn opposite North Perrott Church and through this gate which is marshalled.
Then it's a long gentle downhill sweep across two fields ending at a footbridge over the River Parrett. This can cause some hold ups down the field.
Across the river and there are two fairly flat fields to make up some time.
Some of us have to turn sideways at this gate !

This is another pinch point for slim people only. The gate should be open on the night however.

Ah, the wonderful ford. This year, due to a lack of rain, most people kept their shoes clean and dry but watch next year.
